How to extract NSSO 68th round data

Hi there!

Extracting the NSSO data is not very easy if you do not have the dictionary files which directs the STATA to split the raw data of text files into columns. One of the most time-consuming processes in all this work is nothing but making the 'do file'.

In order to help other researchers, I am posting here the do file of all the rounds of NSSO 68th round for Employment and Unemployment. However, you are advised to buy the original Data DVDs from NSSO for extraction of data. Once you bought the data, replace the path of level files of this do file with the files you have on your computer.
